US Mill Valley filmfest to host Iran-Armenia ‘Yeva’

Mill Valley Film Festival in the US is to screen Iranian-Armenian film ‘Yeva’.

Iran-Armenia film ‘Yeva’ directed by Anahid Abad has been scheduled to be screened at the 40th edition of the Mill Valley Film Festival in California, the US.

Produced by Taqi Aliqolizadeh, the Iran-Armenia coproduction will be screened at the World Cinema section of the Californian festival.

‘Yeva’, a woman who is under prosecution in connection with her husband’s murder, faces challenges in her life, the movie synopsis read.

The flick stars many recognized actors and actresses from Armenia such as Narine Grigoryan and Shant Hovhannisyan.

The Mill Valley Film Festival is an annual American film festival founded in 1977. It provides a forum for introducing new films to American audiences.

Over its nearly 40 years of history, the festival has attracted a strong circle of talents from around the world.

This edition of the event is slated for October 5-15, 2017.
